The Montana Tobacco Quit Line is a statewide toll-free telephone line that offers help to Montanans interested in quitting tobacco use. The Montana Tobacco Quit Line provides free telephone counseling, free nicotine replacement therapy to those who qualify, sends out support materials, and links callers with local resources to help them quit.

The Montana Tobacco Quit Line is designed to help:

  • Users of all types of tobacco who are ready to quit
  • Those who are thinking about quitting
  • Those who have tried to quit previously without success
  • Those who are trying to avoid a relapse into tobacco use
  • Relatives and friends looking for information to help someone quit
  • Health care providers seeking ways to help their patients

All phone calls are individualized so each caller gets the support they need. Callers can speak with an experienced counselor when they are ready to quit tobacco. Callers must sign up for 5 free phone counseling sessions, to be eligible to qualify for free nicotine replacement therapy.  Must be over 18.  Calls are free and confidential.  For more information or a pamphlet, call Leslie at 751-8107.
